Camp notes

REGISTRATION

On arrival - please ensure your child has been ticked off on the register.

On pick-up - we will not allow a child to leave the course until they have been signed out with a parent/guardian. Once a child has been signed out, they are no longer the responsibility of 8BY8 Football Ltd.

BREAKS/LUNCHTIME

All children will be required to bring a packed lunch (if attending for a full day), together with lots of still drinks/a refillable water bottle (water top-up available on site).

Healthy snacks are also recommended for break times.

WHAT TO WEAR

Please send your child prepared for any weather! All children should be dressed in suitable and comfortable clothing for outdoor football activities.

In the warmer months, your child will require a hat to protect them from the sun.

WHAT TO BRING

Drinks - It is really important that children stay hydrated, particularly in the warmer months. Please therefore ensure your child has plenty of still drinks and/or a refillable water bottle.

Sun cream - Our coaches do not provide sun cream. You will therefore need to send your child with sun cream (labelled with your child's name). During the warmer months, please put sun cream on your child before they arrive at the course, particularly areas such as the face, back of the neck and ears.

Our coaches are not allowed to put sun cream on your child, so they will need to be able to apply it themselves.

Medical information/Medication - Please ensure any important medical information is disclosed when booking, and any medication is labelled with your child's name.

On arrival at the course, please ensure medication is handed to coaches with appropriate instructions.

WHAT NOT TO BRING/WEAR

All jewellery should be removed before attending the course.
Do not send your child with fizzy drinks.
No electronic devices please.

IMPORTANT: Our courses are now nut-free! As we do sometimes have children attending who have mild to severe nut allergies, we ask that you do not pack foods containing nuts on any of our courses - thank you.
